Everyone should experiment with black lipstick and not just at Halloween

I LOVE my new cape/ bat wing top from Topshop (if you haven't guessed by now i am a topshop fiend!) its in camel colour which supports the safari trend i've seen this winter. It does come in other colours though; i really liked a maroon version they had and would have got it had i the money. I punked it up with a bit of black lipstick from NYC, its more glossy than matte how i prefer but at around two quid its a steal.

i also admire the shapes created with this top, it adds to the beauty.

Going girly.

I've been feeling a need to add more flowers and pastel colours to my wardrobe lately, perhaps to balance out the leather and monotones I have and because every so often I like to feel girly.

All rings are from topshop except the oval black stone ring which is a neat buy from primark! the dress is a one shoulder number with a brown belt sinching the waist; also from topshop by brand. Nail polish is in 'doll' by urban outfitters which, unintentionally, matches the dress a treat.

major boob. This is one of my favourite tops though, black mesh with velvet panels down the front. completely mesh at the back. wish I was brave enough to go braless! will get a better full pic when I can round up someone to take it for me.

Why do you love this top you say? because it works with ANYTHING i can punk it up with my DMs (which i did), go goth with a long skirt or make it boho with a long green festival style jacket and layering. Makeup's also a fun thing to play with; I chose to focus just on the lips but smoky eyes or a brown rimmed eye look great too. Also, chose to put a bun in my hair because its growing awkwardly out of a crop atm....

close up of the makeup and minimal accessory. I'm wearing stone set earrings with mini pearls going around it all cast in a goldplated mould, if you will. For makeup: I can only wear mac because of the yellow undertone in my skin, nothing else matches :( and i'm wearing rimmel lipstick in electric plum to bring a flash of colour.
